A few days ago, I was bitterly depressed. Then I was contacted by the wonderful nolachick from Chicks in the Huddle.

Oh, what a lovely, lovely concoction.  If that doesn’t make you feel better, nothing will.

Feel superior, non-New Orleanians. Hold up your shiny low crime rates. Be proud of your city not in danger of being inundated four months every year. Be proud of your franchises that have not suffered forty-one years of futility.

But know that no matter what, we are more fun than you.

    You tell em sista! Although after the Saints game, I got the feeling I went waaaaay too light on the rum. Rookie mistake.

    I don’t plan on watching them again without a half bottle of red wine or a couple of screwdrivers in me at kickoff.
